Well, Lilah found a new home a couple of hours after I last posted. She is now with a family with a place on the lake and 2 kids that love her! How wonderful! My husband truly thought that he could bring her home, I would fall in love with her and we could keep her. He quickly found out that was not going to be the case! I did give him the option to fence in the backyard in order to keep her, but he then came to the census that we couldn't afford that.
Last weekend we were in Huntsville again for the Junior League Spring Market. I must say that it was a bust. We paid around $500 for our booth space and at least we made that back. If we would've had to pay for hotels, we would've lost money. Thanks to my friend Amanda, I stayed free about 10 minutes away from the civic center. I must say that the highlight of my trip was getting some more Gigi's cupcakes. Loni and I each bought some and shared them. I even bought a couple of extra to save and take to work to share on Monday night. I will say that so far the coconut and red velvet are the bomb!
I got an iPhone on Monday!!! I'm super excited about it! I've waited a year and a half for my Verizon contract to end. It ended on Thurs and on Monday, we both have iPhones. I'm still figuring everything out, but I'm totally attached. It's awesome! We actually ended up cheaper than what we were paying for both of our old phones. Kent has to have Sprint for work with the whole push to talk CRAP! So now that has been turned over to his job to pay for and we are with AT&T.
